Country Lodge Kinloch is the perfect haven for independent travellers looking for something unique and special in an accommodation experience.
The main residence was designed as a purpose-built homestay generally in character with the classic early-American Heritage Barn. The home exudes warmth and comfort with large, interconnecting rooms off the main living area, massive log fireplace, rustic timber beams and wood panelled flooring. An attractive blend of contemporary and traditional furnishings tastefully compliment this cosy and inviting environment.
The two in-residence guest suites are generous in size with private en-suite bathrooms and uninterrupted views of the lake and countryside. The Whangamata suite (ground floor) also has its own living area for added privacy, and is accessible from its own separate entrance.
The self-catering Pioneer Cottage lies in the valley below the main residence. A contemporary interpretation of the original early settlers cottage of the late 1800s, this charming holiday hideaway is fully equipped to make your stay both special and relaxing.
The cosy cottage has two bedrooms that comfortably sleep up to five. To accommodate larger groups, the sofa within the living area also extends to a double bed.
The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, gas hob, and microwave as well as complimentary tea & coffee. Television, electric blankets and gas heating are also provided.
In this private country setting with magnificent lake and rural views the Pioneer Cottage provides a special getaway experience for that 'great escape from the city', family holiday or just a relaxing weekend of fishing or golf.
